30w and nauseous?
I am almost 30w. and for the last 2-3 days, when i wake up, I am nauseous. It goes away after about an hour or two, but ... is this normal? is this cause for concern? I'm going to the dr tomorrow so I am sure i will ask her then anyway, but just wondering if anyone else experienced this towards the end of their pregnancy...

Does it go away after you eat? Sometimes when my stomach is empty I will get nauseous.

Re: 30w and nauseous?
Yeah I would get that way if i was hungry and especially if i took any kind of vit on an empty stomach.
I have heard of women getting their morning sickness back in the 3rd tri too though, so could be that.

Re: 30w and nauseous?
I have never heard on MS in the third tri. that would totally suck. I thought I had successfully avoided morning sickness and I was SO happy about it. Hopefully it was only the last few days.
i know i can't take any vit on an empty stomach - thats a recipe for disaster for me.. .and i always carry granola bars or something similar with me just in case i get that blood sugar dip. that was even before i was pregnant too... i totally expected to have morning sickness in the beginning bc of that. I got lucky though.
maybe this is my payback.

Re: 30w and nauseous?
Maybe it's the baby pressing on your stomach or gas? I have been getting bad gas pains, which cause nausea for me then. I take 2 tums and it goes away.

30w and nauseous?
I have had nausea since end of second trimester. I don't get it everyday. But I do get it when I'm hungry, tired or hot. Also if baby is moving a lot that can make me nauseous too. I'm currently 35 weeks, I just assumed this is a normal part of pregnancy for me

Re: 30w and nauseous?
I had terrible, horrible, all-day nausea + vomiting (HG according to my charts) from weeks 5 - 20.5. Mild all-day nausea + lack of appetite + occasional cookie spilling returned at 23 weeks. I'm now 27 weeks, and the nausea has been exacerbated by the fact that my little man has already grown enough to push up against my short-waisted ribcage which has compromised my ability to breathe normally much sooner than anticipated.
P.S. Our shifting, squished organs (especially our stomach/intestines) make digestion more of a trip, which can totally bring about nausea too...or in my case, daily acid reflux. Check out this trippy animation clip which demos what happens to our inner bits etc. over the course of our pregnancies:

ugh i am sorry you have had that the entire time pretty much. my reflux has been terrible the last 2 weeks. I have had to sleep sitting up so i didn't throw up from the reflux. that clip is wild to actually see whatyour body goes through. you know its happening but to actually bring the vision to life is pretty crazy. my poor organs. haha
