Dry throat/thirst
I don't remember experiencing this with my other pregnancies. My throat often feels dry, which makes me pretty thirsty. I drink a lot of water, but my mouth is especially dry during the middle of the night and morning. I go through a large glass of water in the middle of the night because my throat feels so dry. Of course the dry throat and drinking a lot turns into a cycle of waking frequently to go to the bathroom and drink more. I wish I could sleep better, but I've always slept terribly from early on with each pregnancy.
Just wondering if others had similar experiences and when the dry mouth/thirst subsided. I read that being very thirsty could be an indication of GD, but would that be true so early on? I'm not even 5 weeks yet.

Re: Dry throat/thirst
This is my third pregnancy. I don't really remember it with the other two, but I've been really thirsty/dry with this one too. I'm just a little over 5 weeks. Maybe it's some pregnancy thing compounded by the time of year when air in house is dry. I got pregnant in April with the other two.

Re: Dry throat/thirst
I remember feeling this way. Run a cool mist humidifier in your bedroom at night- it helps a lot

Re: Dry throat/thirst
It's normal! I was very dry - my nose, throat, etc. I used saline spray and a humidifier overnight.
