Materniti21 and gender
Is the result very accurate? Has anyone heard/experienced it being wrong? Not sure if I want to go out and buy pink clothes just yet. I was 12 weeks when the test was taken.

It was right for me...but when I went for my anatomy scan we were joking with the tech about it. He said he's had it be twice wrong and the people even went on to have amnios that proved him right and the blood test wrong.

Pretty sure it's almost 90%+ accurate. It is testing fetal DNA in the blood, looking for x and y chroms.

I understand it is 96+% correct. It was correct for me. I was also unsure and waited until the sonogram confirmed it to shop.

Was correct for me both times. Like PP said, it's a DNA test so it's pretty reliable. I confirmed with a US both times before buying things just in case it was wrong or they circled the wrong sex by mistake.

I had the Panorama test (same test, different name/company), and it was right for me. We confirmed the gender via sonogram this past Tuesday.

i've had it twice and both times it was correct. but both times were boys, and i think it is more accurate for boys (if they see boy chromosomes, i must be having a boy!)
