First time cruiser
I want to book a Disney cruise because it looks amazing but I'm so scared I'm going to be seasick the entire time. Did anyone else have these fears and were you ok? What do you take to prevent seasickness that doesn't make you a groggy mess?

Re: First time cruiser
Have you ever been on a boat before? My first cruise was when I was 13. I've never had any issues. There are a lot of things you can take with you in case. Meds or a bracelet over the counter. The ships are so big and if you go during a good time where the water is mostly calm you should be fine. I got vertigo over the summer and it was awful. We had a cruise booked for Nov and I was nervous it would set it off, but I was totally fine. Honestly, I think I slept better on the cruise bc it was so relaxing. LOL!
Don't let that hold you back from booking anything. You'll miss out on having an amazing time.

Re: First time cruiser
That was my fear on our first cruise (which was Disney). I bought Bonine from Harmon, started taking it the night before (you take one a day) and was totally fine.
I booked a room mid ship on a low deck, because that is where you will feel the least motion (think of a swaying building or a see saw...low and center is where it would sway the least. We always stay on Deck 2 in a port hole window (Dream and Fantasy you can sit in the port hole). Our favorite spot, so close to everything (other than the pool deck), feel no motion, and haven't been seasick. I definitely feel the motion when on the higher decks or in the lounges that are in the rear of the ship.
