How many appointments did you have during the first trimester?
Trying to remember how many times I'm going to have to figure out squeezing in appointments during work before feeling comfortable enough to share that I'm pregnant. I have my first appointment next week around 7 weeks, which should just be an annual appointment. I know I'll need to make a sono appointment. I'm pretty sure I had at least 1 or 2 more appointments plus the sono for the 1st trimester screening, but I know the tests have changed a bit in the last 4-5 years.
My work hours start before the OB's office opens and closes only 30 min after I could get out of work. Plus I work about 25 minutes away from the office and I tend to have meetings scheduled on short notice. I find scheduling doctor's appointments to be stressful especially since I don't feel comfortable sharing why I have these appointments.
How many appointments, including sono appointments, did you have during the first trimester?

Re: How many appointments did you have during the first trimester?
I had an appointment at 7 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, and 20 weeks. The 12 week appointment and 20 week appointment were sonograms so they were not at my regular doctor's office.
ETA: I told my office after the 12 week appointment.

Re: How many appointments did you have during the first trimester?
I'm 13 weeks.
I had one at 10 weeks and 12 weeks. Not another one until 16 weeks.

I had 8 weeks, 12 weeks at ob. Then between 11-13 weeks was the nt scan done at the hospital.
Second pregnancy I also had the genetic testing at around 11 weeks

Re: How many appointments did you have during the first trimester?
I think typically one to establish a due date around 8 or 9 weeks, and then sono at 12 or 13 weeks.
I had a SCH with my second pregnancy so I had to go more often during the first trimester. But if there are no issues, I think just one or two appointments in the first tri.

This sounds a lot more like what I remember with my other pregnancies. I know the office does a regular first appointment with pap, then a dating sono around 8 weeks. I also had an appointment where they did the finger prick (and listened to the heartbeat with a Doppler) and then a sono appointment about a week later for the first trimester screening, but those were before the newer screening tests came out. Frankly, I wish I had fewer appointments at the beginning.
Thanks!

Re: How many appointments did you have during the first trimester?
I had a confirmation of pregnancy at 8 weeks and then just a 12 week sono.
I then went to monthly appointments. Listening to baby's heartbeat on the doppler for 2 appointments.
Then the 20w anatomy scan. Back to mostly appointments until I hit 32 weeks. Then every 2 weeks with doppler normal blood work, pee checks such. At 35 weeks I've now switched to weekly appointments and have a 36 week sono.
