Communion dress
When did you start shopping for DD's communion dress? Also, where are some good places to shop? Was your daughter's dress tea length or ankle length?

Communion dress
I actually bought my daughter's dress at Burlington Coat Factory on MLK Day. We happened to be there, she liked it, it fit, and I bought it. $29.99! She looked just as pretty as the girls in the $200 dresses, IMO. It was tea length.

Re: Communion dress
I never thought to try there. I will have to look- thank you! I really don't feel like spending a lot of money for a dress she will wear for 2 hours.

Re: Communion dress
All the department stores have them for very reasonable prices. When I got my niece's we went during her Feb school break.

Communion dress
We took my daughter a little more than 2 months before her Communion. We bought the dress from Francine's Bridal in Sayville. It was a whole package for like $179...dress, veil, headpiece, earrings, and a bracelet. Her dress was tea length.

Re: Communion dress
Started looking in boutiques in January and ordered by end of Jan. Some dresses take 3 months to come in.

Communion dress
We just ordered from a boutique not far from my house. Takes about a month to come in and then she will need alterations.
