Can run the complete gamut - what kind of blinds - real wood, fake wood, not wood at all ( like the Hunter Douglas Silhouettes), what size windows, decorative accents - like the valance or fabric "tapes" on the blinds, etc. So many factors determine the price - very hard to provide an approximate cost

Re: Approximate cost of window blinds
Depends on the size of your window, the fabric you choose, a million things. Your best bet is to just get an estimate.

I got Roman shades, middle of the line fabric, room darkening and cordless and paid over $400 per window (window about 36"). I think cordless was about $75. Not sure if the exact breakdown.

Thank you. This is a new road for me. Our house came with old verticals but trying to gauge when we can upgrade.

Re: Approximate cost of window blinds
i'd go to a place like blinds to go to see what they have and get a rough price estimate. You should measure your windows first though
also check out the big box stores as they often have cheaper alternatives. We have some great white faux wood blinds we got from HD that were only about $35 a pair. When we looked at the brown faux wood though we didn't find anything we liked and got from blinds to go - and they were more like $80 each
but soo many factors can determine a cost so you should really get an estimate to make a better decision

I really like the faux wood blinds from Home Depot. I get the white ones that are 2in. I think they look really nice and even have wood grain on them (or you can get with out). They're cheap too.

Approximate cost of window blinds
I bought faux white wood blinds from budget blinds. I liked it because it was an in home shop. We did 10 windows for $1000 with installation.
