Legislation to abolish the EPA
I can't take this. Our environment is not a state by state issue. We cannot let this happen.

WHO IS AGAINST THE ENVIRONMENT?
WHO? WHO? WHO?
Yesterday's press briefing they had their first skype questions. One was about when are they going to remove the terrible regulations on coal to start bringing jobs ands this wonderful natural resource back. Another talked about how much land is owned by the federal government and when is it going to be returned to the people so we can increase logging and not have to fight so many forest fires! I couldn't believe my ears.

Coal companies, oil companies, etc. You know, big business that doesn't give a crap about the public or the environment.

IMHO, the average person doesn't think about these things. Most people only think about themselves and, since air pollution and clean water are a given at the moment, they don't think about them. However, if that changes, those same people will probably start paying attention and maybe vote those officials out of office. Unfortunately, when it comes to drilling in national parks, it may be too late at that point.

Legislation to abolish the EPA
Pandering and bringing back the coal industry - which is disastrous to our natural resources AND to the workers health - is just mind boggling. Coal country just can't let go of the fact that coal is dead. Resurrecting it to the detriment of our country and health is absurd. But sure, let's see what else we can do to destroy America.
