facial options

I rarely get facials, and the only ones I've had are the basic ones where they clean and wash your face with multiple lotions, hot towels, and a massage. It feels good but I don't know if it's a good deep clean.

My SIL does microdermabrasion, but that seems a little more harsh than what I'd prefer.

What other options are there? I'd like a good deep clean - hopefully to get rid of blackheads, etc, and to freshen up my skin.

Any facial should be what you are looking for. I've never had one anywhere that wasn't a "deep clean" with extractions and such.

I get the basic 1 hr facial. My girl does extractions. My skin always feels so smooth and clean afterwards. I'm scared to do any other type of facial because I think it will be too harsh for my skin.

I was afraid of microdermabrasion because I have very sensitive skin and thought it would be too harsh. But, I decided to try it and they have different "levels" that they can use. I went for a few sessions and the first one was so mild, it almost felt like they didn't do anything. If it's something you think might do what you want, it doesn't hurt to call a place and ask some questions.

a regular facial should include extractions and a peel normally. or at least the place i go to does. its definitely a deep clean.

and don't shy away from microderm. I do it twice a year during spa week, and my face is smooth as a babys tooshie afterwards i LOVE microderm. they can always tone down the machine too if you need.
