Re: essie gel
Mine last 3 weeks. 4 weeks last time when I couldn't make it to the nail salon. Even though regrowth was horrible the polish never lifted or chipped at all.

Does this kill your nails? I feel like I am painting my nails every 3-4 days due to chipping/peeling.

I get it done every two weeks and never have a chip. Regrowth is a problem way before chipping is. Does not hurt my nails at all! But this may depend on where you go and how gentle the person is when scraping off the old polish.

It will only kill your nails if you don't remove it right.. Like the time I picked and pulled it all off. OUCH! My nails haven't been the same since- and that was October.
But if you go and have it soaked off properly the only issue may be the acetone they have to use to get it off can be drying- but just keep your nails and cuticles moisturized and you should be fine
