One Day At a Time
Has anyone seen the reboot on Netflix? I looooved it!! I loved the cast and the storylines. Justina machado and Rita Moreno are fantastic! I laughed and cried.
If you haven't watched and you have Netflix, check it out! It's one season but I hope it gets renewed.

I watched a few episodes.
Cute. I will definitely finish the season.
Just not sure why they called it this. They couldve went something else. As thier own.

Justina was on NPR and talked about how the writer of the original is writing the new episodes and they purposely wanted to keep the 70s/80s style sitcom feel.
Rita Moreno has won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, Tony... i would have thought the writing would have been better for the caliber talent she is.
i've only watched the first episode and have heard good things about the series, but i'm not clamoring to finish the season... although i probably will... you know, being cuban, my entire family is watching and it will be all the talk at family gatherings.
side note... both main actors are puerto rican and not cuban. it made me chuckle.
