Inexpensive restaurant suggestions
What area? And how many people? I'd look into Jacksons in Commack, Garden Gill in Smithtown and La Piazza (Merrick or Melville) if any of those areas work for you.

Inexpensive restaurant suggestions
Can you be more specific? What area of LI? How many people? Are you only interested in places that have separate party rooms? Do you want a dance floor/area for a DJ?

It actually can be any area from Ronkonkoma to Queens, for about 25-30 people. No dance floor needed. We would prefer a private room, but not 100 percent necessary!

I'm unsure what the prices are, but I always recommend King Umberto's in Elmont.

Definitely look into Café Baci in Westbury! We had a party there and we were extremely happy. People still talk about it. It's not a private room - but if it's on the weekend and you can do early afternoon - it would be really nice. They can seat you on the first level - you don't even realize other people are in the restaurant. The food is delicious and inexpensive and the staff is so amazing.

My baby shower was at Villagio, in Whitestone. Maybe 30 people - and they gave us the whole restaurant. Amazing Italian food and cheapppp

I had a party at Ciao Baby that was fantastic. It wasn't a private room but they kept us as separate as possible.

Most places I know of start around $40 for the basic salad pasta choice of 3 wine, beer, soda, coffee. Brunch would be a good way to lwower cost
