Another one caught lying about Russia.
If Flynn lied about speaking to Russia, and Sessions lied about speaking to Russia, could it be that our president is lying as well?

This is getting completely ridiculous. They need a special prosecutor. How much more about ties to Russia are we going to have to listen to before something happens?
I don't believe that Trump was in on anything election related, and I don't believe it changed the outcome of the election. But more and more it's seeming that there was intent on the part of some of Trump's people, and it seems like they are planning to pull the wool over our eyes and provide help to Russia without being transparent about it.
Trump could answer many of these questions by providing his tax returns. This is going to dog his administration indefinitely unless he fully comes clean. Let's see if he does it.

Maybe everything is on the up-and-up... but right now, it definitely doesn't look that way. If there is no wrong-doing, an investigation will clear him, and the entire Russian connection can be put to rest. However, if an investigation finds out about the dealings that are rumored to have happened, several people need to be punished.

If Sessions meeting with Russian amb. was standard, why would he risk perjury over it? It makes no sense.
Not to mention the fact that they met at the RNC. Why was the Russian amb even at the RNC? And, it was there that the GOP conveniently weakened their stance on Ukraine.
Anyone who thinks all of these things are simply coincidence is fooling themself.

While I do agree that I doubt that Trump had direct involvement in this, I do think that those around him have dirty hands but that Trump's tax returns will raise additional questions that will make him look guilty. Thus, they will continue to deny that any contact occurred until they are caught red-handed and they will never turn over tax returns voluntarily.

I think goals varied based on the person. But money is at the root of most of it.
Paul Manafort's work in Russia made him millions.
There are oil related sanctions, and the potential for people to make a lot of money if those sanctions were lifted. Many people think that's why Rex Tillerson was chosen for State.
The Russians want the US to look the other way when they continue to attack Ukraine. Putin wants to rebuild the empire by taking back former Soviet states. If the US leaves NATO, as Trump wants to do, Putin does not have to worry about US interference.
And Trump, despite what he says, is making deals all over the world, using his sons as proxies. His son admitted they make money in Russia. And he may be in debt to them, we don't know.
