Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
For anyone that got this done along with a biopsy, can you share what your results were and what if any treatment was needed after? How long did it take to get biopsy results?

Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had it done and had cryotherapy done. It was back in 1997 so I don't remember many details about it

Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had it done last year. Took about a week, wasn't bad or invasive at all. I didn't need Ashburton further at the time.

Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had one at 18. Results showed precancerous cells and I continued to have abnormal PAPs for about 2 years, then went back to normal. No treatment needed, just PAPs every 6 months

This but it was 2002. It was grade 2 something or other - pre cancerous cells (don't remember exactly and it wasn't long for results - sorry don't remember exact timeline) Did cryo and went to gyno-oncologist every 3 months for pap for a year w colposcopy every 6 months. Then 6 month paps and yearly colposcopy. This went on for 2 years. All normal paps since then.

Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had one done 4 years ago. My results came back CD 1 and I required no treatment - I just needed a pap every 3 months of a year.

Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had one many years ago. Precancerous dysplasia was detected and I had cryosurgery done a few weeks after. A pap every six months since has come out fine.

Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had about 10 years ago. It came back negative and I did not need any further treatment.
The procedure itself was not bad at all. I looked it up online before hand. The visuals are way worse than the actual procedure.

Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had one done last year while I was 13 weeks PG. I read up on causes etc. I believe mine was a false positive PAP that happened because I had excess yeast at the time of the PAP. I had the colposcopy done, and results came back completely fine.

Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had 1 done 10 years ago. I do not remember the results exactly but I didn't need further treatment except one more colposcopy done 6m later and then had to have 2 paps a year instead of 1 for a year or 2. I remember I had a little bit of cramping afterwards but nothing motrin could not handle.

Re: Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had a colposcopy done back in 2005 due to suspicious PAP results and positive HPV.
Came back with pre-cancerous cells. Had a LEEP procedure done and the margins were all clear. (Had 2 successful pregnancies following this in 2007 and 2009)
Follow up PAPs every 6 months for 5 years. Results were always clear. Plus my HPV was undetectable. So I'm back to the usual PAP schedule now.

Re: Colposcopy- not colonoscopy
I had one done in 2011 after a couple abnormal Paps. It showed precancerous cells so I had a LEEP procedure done. I haven't had any issues since.
