If you saw Hacksaw Ridge you MUST watch this documentary
I know there are few women on here that like watching documentaries.
I highly recommend The Conscientious Objector: The Story of an American Hero
To see and hear the amazing story from Desmond Dos and the men who served with him. The movie was made due to this documentary and well worth the watch. Incredible story of a courageous brave outstanding man that served our country.

My DH is obsessed with this story
He loved the movie - saw it alone in the theather and then bought it on Prime when it came out. and he has read and watched, so much about the true story.
I am sure he saw this, but I will ask him just in case he didn't see this one.
He LOVES anything about this.

I just watched the movie last night. Have wanted to see it since it was in the theater.
When I saw the clips at the end of the men talking I searched for a documentary about it. Found it last night and watched it this morning. I was a blubbering mess when it was over. There are no words for what this man did. Im in awe of him.

Thank you so much for this recommendation. DH and I have it on bluray and some of the documentary footage is a bonus feature at the end. This was an incredible story, but the movie itself was brilliant. The war scenes were some of the best we've seen.

Yes...thats what made me search for the documentary. After seeing the clips at the end of the movie I had to see the rest of it. Incredible story. The documentary was as good as the movie. But thats what the movie was made from. So Im not surprised.
