Neuropsych recommendations

Possibly looking to have this done for my almost 4 year old ASD son for a variety of reasons.

If you don't mind sharing or please pm me. I would be looking to do it privately (not through school district). Did your insurance cover it at all? How much did it cost? Who did you use?

I understand it's done over the course of a few days and you get a very detailed 15-20 page report with a lot of recommendations? Has that been your experience? Did you find it helpful? If you could do it again, would you?

This is just my experience, and others may disagree.....but if you are doing this for the CSE in hopes of getting private school they barely read the report and its such a waste of time and money....if you are doing it for your own insight thats another thing!

One of my kids just had his done at the NYU child study center and the family was very happy. The report was very detailed and in the end recommended a structured environment and ABA (which the DOE does not provide)....it was however very similar to many reports i have read despite the differences in scores.
