Bikini wax
Weird question- if you get bikini waxes, does your waxer leave the room while you remove your pants, shoes, etc?
I went religiously for years in the city and always undressed in private. I went to EWC today for the second time and for the second time, the girl stayed in the room (these were 2 different EWCs). I told her it was weird and she seemed baffled that I thought so.
Am I nuts or is this bizarre?

Ive always stripped down in front of them while they got things ready, but they're seeing me completely bare anyway so I'm not modest about it.  I've also been going to the same person for 13 years, but even before that with different people it was no different.

At EWC, they've stayed in the room. At the Red Door Spa, they left to give me privacy and then came back in.

Haha, thanks guys. It's not a modesty thing, I just think it's awkward to pull your pants down while a stranger stands there watching you and I've never seen it anywhere else.

Gone to a few different places. At one they left while I got undressed and at ewc they stay in the room. But look away. It doesn't another me considering where they are about to be.

I've never gotten waxed but I'd compare it to the gyn office or massage, where they always have you undress in private. There must be some reason for that, which makes me wonder why they don't do the same. I think I would feel really awkward getting undressed infront of them like that

Right? Like I'm gonna take off with their tub of wax. She said it's because she has precisely 15 minutes to do the service and it usually takes her 7. I told her its been a while since I've taken my pants off for someone in the middle of the day but surely I can do it in 8 minutes!

Since I'm spread like a butterfly on the table...her staying in the room while I strip down doesn't bother me. I go to EWC and she always stays in the room. I consider it the Jiffy lube of bikini waxes...quick in and quick out.

I think its a time thing. One waxer there (EWC) told me they were all pulled in a meeting and asked why their winter sessions were averaging 3 minutes longer than their summer sessions. They were told to speed it up. They had to explain to the manager that in the winter people have more clothes to take on and off and it takes longer.
