Probably the dress I wore for my daughters wedding. Don't remember the exact cost but it wasn't over $200.

$200? I can't see an occasion other than my wedding that would warrant more than that and I really with sales, coupons, discount stores I can't even see spending that much.

Typically no more than 200-250ish. I have a feeling that's going to change soon when I order my bridesmaids dress for a friend's wedding. I don't know what it's going to cost but I know it's going to be a lot.

$300 would be the ABSOLUTE top limit and the dress would have to be pretty damn awesome and something I could get tons of use out of.....like not something I would wear ibce to a wedding

That's what I just spent  that being said, it's not necessarily a wedding dress, although I could wear it to a wedding. It would also be ok for conferences or other events as well

If I like it and look amazing in it and will wear it again, $500? Reallly don't know. I go by the "cost per wear" logic
500$ dress worn 10 times is a better deal than a 60$ dress worn once.

Not including a bm dress, I can't see myself spending more than $100 for a dress but I am not a clothes person at all & I don't spend $$$ on it as it is.. also I don't get invited to events that require me to buy expensive dresses so I've never had the need.

If it's the dress you bought at Nordstrom, check to see if it ever goes on sale then call for price adjustments.
