Play by Sephora
So I get the subscription but I have to say...I find it very disappointing. Usually there is on Sephora product then little trial sizes that would be free if I asked for them. Anyone else disappointed?

Yes. Hated it. Got nothing but perfume samples and glitter eyeshadow. I'm 41 well past the glitter eyeshadow wearing age I was going to keep it to give to my kids but it was just a waste

Yeah. I'm kinda over it too. i use maybe 1 or 2 items per box for like a day and then I forget about them bc they didn't wow me.

I'm actually a big fan. There are months where I would toss half the box but I really like the sample sizes and this month I am seriously considering purchasing a few of the products. For someone on a budget who doesn't do a lot of makeup shopping I like that I get to try all this stuff for only $10/month.

I love it
It's one of my favorites
You always get one perfume not a bunch, a skin product, a lip product and eye product and a hair product. I just purchased the origins ginzing eye cream I love it
I find that in the play box there are real brands I know and love. Another item I purchased the full size was the tarte lip injection lip gloss, something I never would have tried but loved

I just subscribed to this. Didn't see this post before I did. I won't get my first until April. I guess I will try it for a few months and if I am not happy, cancel. Am I correct you can cancel at any time?

What if you walked into Sephora and just asked for samples of all this stuff and save yourself the money? I never get the whole "box" thing and paying money for free samples.
Great scam they thought up...hey let's charge people for free samples and call it ipsy, birch box and Sephora play and make it sound trendy.
Wish i thought of that business plan

These are pretty much travel-sized samples, more than just what you would get by going into the store. I don't think $10/month for the Play box is crazy but I have no idea what the others like ipsy cost.
This month was even better than the last - I love everything I got! I don't know, maybe I am just getting lucky

For the most part...there is a product in the box that is in the $8-10 range. While I agree with the samples...they usually send one or two things I would not usually try or know to try. This month we got a Living Proof sample that runs $10-12 in the store.

See this is what annoys me about Play...I did not get the Benefit highlighter stick...I got a Bobbi Brown gold eye stick and I go one just like it 2 months ago.
