Trump signs order rolling back environmental efforts

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that will roll back many of former President Barack Obama's efforts to curb global warming. The order is aimed at helping spur American energy jobs.
The president signed the order at the headquarters of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Trump says this is "the start of a new era" in energy production.
The order will mandate a review of the Clean Power Plan, which restricts greenhouse gas emissions at coal-fired power plants. It will also lift a 14-month-old moratorium on new coal leases on federal lands.
Trump has called global warming a "hoax," and has repeatedly criticized Obama's efforts as an attack on American workers and the struggling U.S. coal industry.
Time to buy property in Pennsylvania... it will be waterfront property soon....
Even a coal Exec said that coal is on it's way out, and even with all of the bills that trump is signing, they still expect a 3% decrease in jobs in the coal industry....

He's such a dumb fcuk! There is just no other way to put it. The main is a completely ignorant, clueless, dumb fcuk and I hope to God this moron either gets removed from office or removes himself. I've honestly had enough and we're only about 60 days in.

He's such a dumb fcuk! There is just no other way to put it. The main is a completely ignorant, clueless, dumb fcuk and I hope to God this moron either gets removed from office or removes himself. I've honestly had enough and we're only about 60 days in.
All he's doing at this point is just going through every one of Obama's policies and trying to undo them. It doesn't matter how much it hurts, or who it hurts. Even if it causes his precious golf courses to be flooded by rising sea levels.
He hasn't actually accomplished anything of his own yet. He's just drawn big Xs on all of the previous guys work, just like a petulant toddler who's having a temper tantrum....

Exactly!!! ITA!! I've been saying the same thing. ALL he wants to do is erase Obama and his legacy at ANY cost.

Dan Rather was commenting about how every one if his so called "accomplishments" is to get rid of things bc it's so much easier than actually creating anything.
The number one growing job right now is wind turbine technician. Renewable energy has great potential to create jobs and he is trying to squash that and destroy our environment and it's infuriating.
Vice news explained recently that the keystone pipeline will do the opposite as far as creating growth. They said we have too much supply right now, driving prices down, and that only an increase in oil prices will allow oil companies to build new facilities and create more jobs. All trump seems to care about is lining his and his friends' pockets and he couldn't care less about anyone else.

EXACTLY!!!
My DH is a mechanical engineer who trouble shoots wind turbines. The good news is that people are still very interested in wind power even if the President isn't!!!
