Question for a friend
My friend is in the beginning stages of treatments. She has been trying to get pregnant for about a year now with her second child. She had an easy time with the first child got pregnant pretty quickly on her own.
Now she is has had two miscarriages from IUI (done by her OB) and is frustrated and upset. What kind of blood work or testing should be done? Her insurance is awful and probably will not cover much but she wants an idea of what she should be doing. She is seeing a specialist now but is very happy with them and looking to switch. She wants to go somewhere and say this is what I want done.
Any advice I can give her would be great. I went straight to IVF so I am not sure about the tests in between.

Question for a friend
Since she had miscarriages I would suggest the recurrent loss panel.

Re: Question for a friend
Who is she seeing now? I'd tell her to see an RE who specializes in recurrent losses and they'll know how to guide her.
