We ended up with quartzite counters, but we found Marathon Stone Fabrications in Holbrook had the best price of all the stone yards we visited.

Inside. Kitchen counter
They do have a showroom, but it's the type of place that all the slabs are outside and you can pick your exact slab.

Not quartz. Quartzite--still a natural stone. But yes, we did.

We've gotten granite twice from Elegante Granite in Westbury. We priced around, and their prices were pretty good.
