I need a jeans makeover...
I've been wearing Express jeans forever, but lately I'm finding that they do nothing for my body shape. In fact I think they make me look heavier than I am. Brands like Old Navy and Gap never seem to hug me right. I need a new go-to pair of jeans.
I'm 5'6 and 148 lbs. I have a bit of a stomach and i have very thick thighs and butt, but my lower legs are pretty skinny.

I need a jeans makeover...
If you want premium denim try Seven for All Mankind or Joes with a midrise.
If you want reg denim try LOFT -- they usually work well for me too.
I know a lot of the girls on here were trying out new brands from Kohls...but i havent tried.

I like Jennifer Lopez curvy skinny from Kohls but not sure if they restocked
After I bought mine they were very limited on sizes/colors

I'm about the same height and weight, and seven jeans and lucky jeans are my go to. I will say, all of my jeans are different sizes, even in the same brand, not sure if it's the material, but once I find the right size, they are amazing and don't get stretched out and gross like so many other brands.

Have you tried Old Navy lately? I felt the same way and wouldn't wear them for a long time but I went when they had a jeans sale and was pleasantly surprised!

Do you find that they stretch out? I have an old pair - they're at least 2 years old, and they get so stretched out, they look like different jeans from when I first put them on.

I have found 711 levi's skinny to have a nice feel to them. Barely stretch out. I think it has something to do with the cotton to stretch-fabric ratio.

Mine are pretty new, I've washed and worn about 4 times. So far so good. I only picked them up because my sister loves them. She's never had a stretching out issue.

Thanks ladies! I went to Kohls yesterday on my lunch break and tried the Rock and Republic brand. Their mid-waist pull-on jean leggings fit like a GLOVE. I bought 3 pair I loved them so much. And they were $50 instead of the $100 I usually spend on my jeans.

After american eagle, I never bought expensive jeans again. I used to buy 7 of all mankind. I like american eagle better!

I just got the capri version of the pull on jeans from Rock and Republic on a recommendation from Mssissy and they are awesome!!

I agree with all of these!
I think everyone should splurge on one good pair of premium jeans if you can. I like my loft ones for running around during the day with the kids but I always wear my 7s or Joe's (Frame is another one of my favorites) when I am going out to dinner or want to dress up a little. I was never a believer but there really is a huge difference in fit and quality.
