USSSA tickets?
We're going to Disney this summer and are considering adding one day at Universal for Harry Potter (two nights at a Universal hotel). This is going to be a very pricey one day at the park. I read a while ago that some of you have purchased tickets through USSSA and it's a pretty good savings. But I am really nervous that these tickets are safe to buy and use. I feel like I'm going to purchase them and not be able to use them. It says that tickets are for USSSA participants and their families. Please convince me that it's okay? Or not? Thanks!

I just used them in February, no issues :) GREAT deal! You cannot buy Disney tickets through them though. That requires team verification. Universal, they don't care. I've used them like 4 times now.

P.S., I would buy your tickets now, as long as the expiration date period is within your range. They do typically run out of 2 day hoppers (if you need that), and then you have to wait for them to add them to the site.

Re: USSSA tickets?
They're legit! Bargainmama actually introduced me to them. I used them in February as well. I lucked out and was able to get a 2 day hopper which was perfect.

Re: USSSA tickets?
Thanks! I am so hesitant to do one day at universal before hitting Disney, but I don't think we can resist Harry Potter any longer.

Make sure you do the park to park ticket so you can ride the Hogwart's Express, and visit both sides of Harry Potter. The train ride is AWESOME! I was expecting just a normal train ride, but it wasn't. And, you can watch your kids walk through the wall on the platform (cool to video!)

Re: USSSA tickets?
Thanks! I'm a Disney expert, but Harry Potter is a different animal! Do you know by any chance how Universal does with food allergies? And if any of the Harry Potter restaurants are sit down and a must do? I have not done much research yet.

I'm not sure about food allergies, try here

We liked Three Broomsticks, it was good when we went. It's on the IOA side. The Leaky Cauldron is on the Diagon Alley side at Universal.
FYI, The majority of the sit down restaurants are at City Walk, which you walk through to get to the parks. Mostly all quick serve places in the parks. We went to Toothsome, it's like a chocolate factory themed restaurant, and we liked it. HUGE wait though, but the milk shakes are great!
Also, if you are renting a car, I highly recommend parking in the valet section. It's like $15 MORE than regular parking, BUT, you are much closer to the entrance, and there is a private security area with no lines. In general parking the security lines get LONG, and it's quite a bit of walking from the parking garage to the entrances. Plus it's great at the end of the day to not have to walk so far.

Also, definitely check out the new Jimmy Fallon ride, it was opened yet when we went. Looks great. And the Kong ride is neat! My kids really liked the parade that is mid day. It's really weird because we lined up like 30 minutes before, and I kept thinking we were in the wrong spot because no one was there. It's definitely not like Disney, people came like 5 minutes before it started Also, FYI if any of your children have special needs, they offer accommodations similar to Disney
