Cage Free boarding options
I loved Hewlett Pet Resort but now that I'm further East I need some where in Suffolk County. Tried Petsmart in Farmingdale but that was a fail. Any suggestions?

Re: Cage Free boarding options
my sister used houndstown in ronkonkoma. her dog is 35-40 lb, skinny and tall (and fluffy lol) and it worked for her.
they have the dog runs & play time in an open area.
i went to look @ it for my dogs and didnt like it, my dogs are smaller. (4 & 9 lbs)
last year we used bed & biscuit in medford. we liked it a lot and they post pics on FB so you can see the dogs playing. it's also dog runs + play time.
i dont know if these are exactly what you are looking for?

Cage Free boarding options
My dog cannot be crated. I found someone in St. James who does pet sitting in her house - and she's wonderful with my high anxiety dog. Let me know if you want her info

Re: Cage Free boarding options
I just found a couple that are amazing on DogVacay...
I'm going to be using this couple in Sept. - and even for overnight trips this summer so DH and I can do a bit of wandering!
We met them at thier house and they were fabulous. They take the dogs in their home (4 max, but if you want yours to be the only ones, they are fine with that) and basically they have the run of the house/yard. Huge, gorgeous yard.
They don't have pets of their own now, but have been dog owners for 35 years, my pups met with the few that were staying there - and I felt very, very comfortable with how they handled them.
FM me if you're interested, i can forward you the details.

Re: Cage Free boarding options
Not sure where you are or what kind of dog you have, but we used to send our dog to someone in Lindenhurst. She runs a doggie day care out of her house. She is also a dog trainer. She will only take small/medium dogs who are well socialized, but she is awesome. She does day care as well as overnights. Let me know if you are interested. I can try to connect you guys if need be.

Cage Free boarding options
We used Houndstown for our old dog, and he loved it. He was a very social dog.
Our current dog is shy and neurotic, so we have a sitter come to the house to minimize his stress. Having someone come to the house is actually cheaper than most boarding places.
