Communion gift
My friend is having her daughters communion party at the house this weekend. I have no idea about these things. What's an appropriate gift?

Re: Communion gift
My standard gift is $50 and maybe $75 for a nephew.

Re: Communion gift
I'd do $100 for a friend's daughter.

We have one this weekend for a good childhood friend of DH's son. I want to give $100 He wants to give $150. He's an over giver and an over tipper!

Communion gift
We gave my niece $100 .. but I think that was a bit on the chintsy side...mostly bc it was a last minute invite and all kinda weird. For a friend and a communion at a house though I think $100 is generous and can probably do anywhere between $50--$100 if its not that close of a friend.
