storm door installation- HD/Lowe's cost
Are storm doors easy to replace, or did you hire someone to do it? If you used HD, Lowe's, or another store, would you mind sharing the installation cost? Trying to figure out if it is worth it or not

storm door installation- HD/Lowe's cost
I think it cost us around 100 for install plus the cost of the door at HD. They are subcontracted out and send someone to take measurements prior to install and make sure additional work isn't needed. There was also a small nonrefundable fee just to have them come measure.

we had home depot do it. they did the side door at the same time, so i'm not sure the cost but i believe it was pretty cheap compared to the price of the regular door.

Dh did the whole basement and installed all the interior doors, just never did exterior ones. I think we may just do it ourselves because i don't feel like spending $100+ just for installation

We were just told $137 for storm door installation from HD. Front door was $3 something...I cant remember the exact number right now. They charge to come measure, but I thought that was taken off the price of installation.

If you're handy, its definitely doable yourself.
If you're not handy, $137 does not seem bad to have 2 skilled people come to your house for an hour or 2 to put this in.

I guess it's not bad. They charge over $300 for front door installation, so for the 2 doors it's close to $500.
