Trump asked intelligence chiefs to push back against FBI collusion probe

President Trump asked two of the nation’s top intelligence officials in March to help him push back against an FBI investigation into possible coordination between his campaign and the Russian government, according to current and former officials.
Trump made separate appeals to the director of national intelligence, Daniel Coats, and to Adm. Michael S. Rogers, the director of the National Security Agency, urging them to publicly deny the existence of any evidence of collusion during the 2016 election.
Coats and Rogers refused to comply with the requests, which they both deemed to be inappropriate, according to two current and two former officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private communications with the president. ...
Every day, it's another major scandal or deeper development in the Russian collusion story.
And all of these constant major scandals keep masking all of the previous major scandals, and all of the shady dealings and policies that are getting pushed right in front of us, but we're too overwhelmed to notice....

CNN had an article today that says what I've been saying all along: he is running the country like a business with no regard for checks and balances, etc. In fact, I don't think he understands the concept.
Also, it always troubles me that people do not pick up on the fact that, due to the confidentiality agreements he requires, we honestly are not aware of his bad behavior both as a person and as a businessman. There was little negativity in the press previously because he was able to control the conversation due to these agreements. Now, he continues to shoot off his mouth and attempts to control the conversation, but he doesn't have those agreements to protect him.
I feel like I predicted all of this but it's much worse than I ever imagined.
