Too similar? Girl names
DD#1 is named Mackenzie but we call her Kenzie most of the time. For DD#2 we like the name Kelsey but is that too similar to DD#1 nickname?

I think so. I think this sorta thing comes down to preference. I know someone with twins whose nicknames are pretty much as identical as they are. Obviously it doesn't bother the mom lol

It only matters what you think. Yes, they are obviously similar but you can always go back to using Mackenzie or just let them be similar. I have two cousins who are brothers and have very similar names. If you're okay with it don't worry about anyone else. If you're bothered by it then that's what matters.

I personally don't see anything wrong with similar names, but that's just me... if you like both of those names, then go for it!

I think Kelsey is a cute name and the decision is up to your preference! My DD#1 is Lydia and my DD#4 will be Lainey. I was worried the names were too similar because they both start with an L but just Lainey just feels right so dispite my mom saying they are too similar I decided to go for it. Good luck!
