Friggin Ticketmaster!!
Beware of the AMEX presale!! We purchased floor seats for NKOTB. Got to our seats and they were taken. Seems that Ticketmaster sold our seats close to 4x over!!! There were a ton of people with nowhere to sit!
We missed The first 2 acts and finally just as NKOTB were about to take the stage, we were moved to the pit. We spent 1.5 hours wandering the venue and staying behind curtains because we couldn't block the walkways. It was a disaster
Frustrated, angry, upset ... understatement.
I don't even know how this can be avoided in the future. But I felt like I needed to say something to warn others.
It seems it was all people who purchased floor seats in our section through amex. Like they sold them and never removed them from availability. Could you imagine!!????
My friend already contacted them... we'll see what they do about it.

Damn. You guys should be refunded. I'm assuming your friend bought them on her card? Have her call TM and speak with a CS supervisor. That is ridiculous and I would demand a refund. If they don't budge, have her contact AmEx and have an AmEx rep contact TM.
Sounds like they're going to have a shit ton of people complaining, and for good reason. That's a huge eff up. I work in ticketing, but not for TM, and I don't understand how the seats could still be shown as available status after they're sold, let alone a few times over. That's one hell of a glitch in the system.

This happened to me last night too! Were you in section A2? Everyone around my seats seemed to have the same problem. Customer service was a complete joke too and ended up putting us in an obstructed view area. Please keep me posted on how your friend does with Ticketmaster- I'll be calling later today!

They put us in section 28. But when we went to go, it was like behind the stage. We lost our shit. Their was an angry mob with us and we finally got placed in the pit for the start of NKOTB
We refused to sit behind stage. Our original seats were right up against stage B. We paid for that. And I refused anything less. We were trying to get back stage passes but they refused that too. My friend had to start recording them for them to take us serious. After she turned her phone on, their story chnged and they brought us to the pit
It was an absolute nightmare from the second we got there.

Ugh so frustrating!! They put us in section 28 too and I was pissed. I'm 8 months pregnant so there was no way I was going into the pit... some wonderful security guard ended up putting us in stools next to the stage. Total chaos!

Ticketmaster says they need to contact the venue.... it's going to be a blame game now.
