Check in for the week of July 24th
What's new? Updates? I'm in the 2ww. Beta isn't for a week. I'm already thinking of next steps. If this doesn't work I'm thinking about additional testing. I've had 2 losses in a row so something is going on.
How are you feeling? Nervous and really tired.
Questions or concerns? If you had a hysterscopy was anything found? I had a saline sono about a year ago and all was clear. I'm thinking of doing a hysterscopy to see if there are any fibroids or polyps or anything that need to be removed. I've never had those issues before but maybe there is something we aren't seeing. If you had a hysterscopy and things were removed and cleaned up was it surprising anything was found?
Endo Scratch- Anybody do one? Thoughts?

I had a hysteroscopy twice and nothing was found. At my last ER a polyp was found and removed while I was out.
I did the endo scratch thing.. I got pregnant the following cycle and the loss was unrelated. Supposedly it increases implantation.
P.s. I'll write you back later, I've just been a lazy bum

Thanks! Yeah I doubt anything will be found but I'm just trying to think what else I can do. I've heard some good things about the scratch. Who knows right? ttyl

Check in for the week of July 24th
I met with Dr Kofinas at the end of June had my blood work done. I go back next week to go over the results and have a endometrial biopsy done. Hopefully once those results come in we can move forward with a plan for our next FET. I feel like time is passing by and I'm going no where! Hate this feeling!

I totally understand. Everything takes so long! I've been back at this for over a year and have gotten nowhere. So frustrating. Glad your appointment is coming up and hopefully you get some answers.
My next step is to make an appointment with Kofinas since I had 2 losses. I might PM you for some info if thats okay.

Re: Check in for the week of July 24th
I'm in the 2ww too and waiting for SA and initial blood work results. Waiting for AF to come (or BFP ) and then I'll go for CD3 BW and schedule my FemVue.
When I go in on CD3 I want to ask if we can just do a Clomid/IUI cycle even though we haven't finished all prelim testing (i.e. FemVue). I just don't want to "waste" another month and have to wait until September to start IUI or IVF (depending on test results). My insurance coverage is great so I feel like I want to get started with assistance. Not sure the Dr will go for it though

Whats the FemVue? Never heard of it.
Well hopefully your RE will have all your blood work results and SA before day 3. I'd call and ask before the 2ww is over so you can get started. I agree wasting time sucks and if your plan is to do Clomid IUI anyways than why not try.

FemVue Sono HSG is a sono where they use saline and air bubbles to check patancy of tubes and any abnormalities in the uterus. It is considered less invasive than a typical HSG.
I think I will email my dr and throw it out there that I want to plan for a IUI cycle in August and see what he says.

The good news is that he called me 1 minute after I hit "send" on the email so he responds quickly. But, he won't do the IUI until he knows at least one of my tubes is open. He doesn't want to do an IUI before the FemVue because if both tubes are closed, it can increase risk for ectopic. I get it, just hate waiting.

Yes, better safe than sorry and I'm happy he's thorough. I just hate waiting, especially b/c I feel like I've been waiting forever to be pregnant already (I know I'm preaching to the choir here ). If tubes are clear on FemVue I might ask if we can do an unmedicated IUI for August. I've read some woman have success after an HSG or a FemVue b/c it "cleans them out". It'll be too late to start Clomid but I'm willing to try an unmedicated. It won't cost me anything OOP, not even a copay, so I feel like we should make an attempt.
