Did you go to a lawyer for a will or did use use an online template?
ETA: If you used a lawyer, how much did they charge?

Yes. Went to a lawyer but more so because I wanted custody defined for our children if we should both die (we have 3 little kids).

Have wills and trusts done for both kids by a lawyer. It was a priority for us after my father passed unexpectedly. I would suggest seeking out an attorney.

It's on our to do list. Our lawyer when we bought a home said she could take care of this for use, and we loved working with her, so we would use her.

Yes we had a will and health care proxy done by a lawyer. Especially if you have kids it's so important to have one. I wanted everything is legal writing what would happen with our assets and our daughter if anything happened to us. If you have kids,do it.

I had a colleague in my office do mine the day I was going in for my induction with my first child lol. Most important thing for me was to have my wishes for guardianship for my children laid out. Also important to do a health care proxy and whatever other advance directives are recommended at the same time. A lawyer can help you figure out what is best for you.
I can give you my colleague's information for this - our office is located on Rte 110 and she is fantastic with estate planning. I'm a lawyer in the office but I practice in another area - I highly recommend her. Send me an FM if you'd like the information!

yes we did all of it before DS was born.
we went to a lawyer in riverhead. it wasnt too much $ and we got everything done together- health proxy, wills, etc etc

Yes - we have one and went to a lawyer. The lawyer we used was in NYC through DH's union.
