Breastfeeding and dresses

What the heck can I wear to my dd's baptism that I can breastfeed in? All I wear are double tanks so I'm lost. My chest is very large at the moment. The baptism is early Sept.

You have a couple of options. They make dresses specifically for nursing. You can also find v neck dresses. I wore a shirt/blouse to my son's and then used a fashion scarf as a cover.

I wore this from Amazon for DDs baptism. While I couldn't nurse her, it has easy access for nursing. There are a few other styles. Received a ton of compliments

What about a separate shirt/skirt outfit? Then you can either get a nursing shirt or wear a regular shirt and pull it up. I've been having a hard time finding anything that is remotely flattering that is made for nursing, that isn't also super pricey.

I remember walking through stores pulling the necklines of all the dresses looking for something a little stretchy lol. Fun times!

I got something like this (link) from Kohls. Not this exact dress since it was over a year ago, but something similar and the same brand. It has an overlapping v neck made of a material that's kind of stretchy. I also have worn dresses that either button or zip closed in the front.

I like the pink. Was it stretchy enough to pull aside to nurse?

Never mind I read the comments. Thank you I'm a huge maxi dress fan so one of these will work.

Re: Breastfeeding and dresses

I have a few regular dresses that were very nursing friendly when I needed them to be. Look for something that has a drop neckline where the sides can be pulled over. That and a swaddle blanket for privacy if you wish and you're good.

I think I got a dress at Motherhood. While I was a little embarrassed bc I wasn't pregnant anymore, the salesperson assured to me that many women come back. Many of their clothes are nursing friendly and not to mention super comfy.

I wore a regular dress because I could not find one that was BFing friendly. I did bring a pumped bottle of milk for the church but she wanted to nurse at the party. We had the party at a VFW type hall with a kitchen area so I just brought a chair in there to nurse her.
