Puppy obedience classes
We go to Petco in Syosett. I have been taking my golden there since she was 16 weeks and she is currently 10 months. We did both puppy 1 and 2 and she and I learned so much. She also goes to the organized puppy playtime. At 10 months, she is the best behaved and best social dog I have ever had. We will be starting the next class to get her certified to be a therapy dog!

Puppy obedience classes
We used Petsmart Farmingdale for my older dog when he was a puppy. We were happy with it. But as with any training it is only as good as the follow through at home.

Puppy obedience classes
Funny story, my mom used Petco in Garden City Park/Mineola. Her dog actually flunked out, lol! But they still gave her a certificate because she's so cute. They did offer to have my mom redo the classes for free, but my mom never took them up on it. No reflection on Petco, my mom's dog just doesn't follow directions and she is also veerrryy spoiled!

I would find a trainer who is certified, I could provide a name. Not all those that work at petco etc are real trainers.

try happy Dog training classes if you are close to Elwood area - she is great - has classes but you also can reach out to her after your class with all questions

Puppy obedience classes
We used the puppy kindergarten at Petsmart. There is a socialization aspect but it was more about teaching us how to train our dog (which is exactly what we were looking for)

Re: Puppy obedience classes
We used Sublime k9 and are very happy with the results. They come to your home to do the training. Definitely worthwhile!
