Increasingly emotional/hormonal end of pregnancy
I am 36 weeks with DC 2 and today feel like I am at my breaking point. I don't know if I am just having a bad day, but I have been crying on and off all morning over the dumbest sh!t. I have a lump in my throat and feel like I could breakdown at any second, again, over stupidity. I haven't had this symptom my entire pregnancy. I don't know if its just being overtired, or if there is some sort of hormone surge towards the end of pregnancy or what... but I feel like a total lunatic. Anyone know if this is common towards the end?

Increasingly emotional/hormonal end of pregnancy
it was with me. At around 36 or 37 weeks i would cry almost every night because i was just ready to be done with pregnancy. I was sick alot in the beginning, and it got really bad again in the last month. I was exhausted and tired of throwing up and it made me really emotional... You'll be OK- You're almost there

Increasingly emotional/hormonal end of pregnancy
I could have written this myself. You are not alone and I think it's a combination of being uncomfortable, lack of sleep and hormones. I had a major meltdown yesterday over an argument I had with my mom and while I think it was a valid reason to be upset, there was definitely no reason to be the absolute sobbing mess that I was.
I also feel very badly because instead of treasuring these last few weeks I have with DD1 I feel like I'm just constantly snapping at her and have zero patience and that just leads to more tears on my end because I feel so guilty for being such a mess.
Pregnancy and parenting is hard!!!

Same here!! Its nice to see I am not alone. This morning DS was super overtired and cranky and just being hard to deal with. I started crying. When he saw me crying, he stopped and hugged me. and then I felt like such an idiot. like why am I letting my child see me cry?!

OMG this. I'm 35 weeks and finding patience and energy for my 2 year old has been really really tough. I feel so guilty!

Yes! Now that I'm post due date, my mood has actually been better. But in the weeks leading up to it, I was a blubbering, hormonal mess over everything.

Sounds totally normal to me. I was pretty bad my entire pregnancies but the end was the worst.
