anyone give me some hope for sleep?
DS2 is not a good sleeper, he is at 10 months still up 2-3 times per night and im feeling so exhausted. I work full time and am running on empty. Not looking for suggestions as we have tried it all! I am just wondering anyone had a baby that didn't sleep, when did it get better? 1, 2? My older one slept like a dream from the getgo. Need some hope!!

none of the methods work for him, thats why I am asking for anyone whose kid didn't sleep when did it get better?
We tried everything, nothing left to try other then waiting for him to sleep when he does

anyone give me some hope for sleep?
My ds is almost 17 mos, and still wakes several times a night. It's killing me, but I really think it's because he's teethibg, and hoping it will get better soon. My older dd started sleeping better once all her teeth were in.

My DS did not sleep through the night regularly til 18 months maybe. But I have to say that once he did...he became an amazing sleeper. While it SUCKED I would not change it because now at almost 6 we have zero sleep issues.

Re: anyone give me some hope for sleep?
my DD started sleeping through the night around 1 year old. There is hope. It was god freaking awful before that- especially because DH worked 5 nights a week so I was alone all night with her and had to get up for work myself in the morning.
And I agree with PP that once she started, she was an amazing sleeper- and it was like heaven on earth

21 months for both my girls. Tried all the methods between the two of them, but just had to wait for them to be older.

anyone give me some hope for sleep?
My daughter was still waking up 3-4 times a night at 6 months. At the checkup doctor said stop giving her milk at night!! So we started to give her less and less milk every time she woke up and by 8 months she was sleeping through the night. I was so exhausted!

Re: anyone give me some hope for sleep?
Just wanted to add that sleeping though the night is definitely a developmental type milestone and just like all other milestones every child does it at their own pace. It sucks but it really is just the way it is ...

Re: anyone give me some hope for sleep?
My ds was over 2 years and I knew he could sleep through the night but for some reason he wasn't. So he started sleeping with us bc I needed sleep after 2 years! That worked and now he sleeps with my older dc and they sleep 11-12 hours every night. He just needed someone with him I guess

Re: anyone give me some hope for sleep?
We got a sleep coach when my DS was around 12-14 months. She changed our lives, so yes it did get MUCH better. It's like a completely different world. He's 4 now but was a great sleeper since hmm... I wanna say maybe 2? I can't even honestly tell my friends what a good sleeper he is because they'd all hate me

Re: anyone give me some hope for sleep?
I have felt your pain!!
My dd at 15 months was still up for hours each night. I would be up sometimes from 1-3 or 2-4 and then get up at 5 for work. It was awful.
I had tried sleep training once before but honestly I don't think she was ready.. or me for that matter.
But at 15 months, I could tell she was.
With my husbands help (because I couldn't do it), we tried Ferber method and it worked in 3 days.

Re: anyone give me some hope for sleep?
My daughter didn't STTN until 22 months. She was up multiple times a night until then. I also work FT and it was ROUGH. However, once 22 months hit, it was like a dream.

anyone give me some hope for sleep?
My older DS didn't sleep through the night until almost 2 1/2. He's been a great sleeper since (but, doesn't need a lot of it).
DS 2 was a good sleeper from the beginning.
Now that they are 7 and 5, I'm finally feeling myself again lol (ok so maybe that was last year)...

Re: anyone give me some hope for sleep?
My 3rd son was the latest sleeping through the night - I would say around 2 and he is a great sleeper now.
