KIDS barber shop recommendation
Hello all,
My baby boy is going to turn one in couple weeks.
I would like to cut or trim his hair. I need help finding a place where it's kid friendly as it will be his first hair cut.
Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendation on a kids barber or kids salon in the Nassau area, or anywhere you absolutely love! =)

We took ds to little clippers in oceanside for his first haircut. It was cute - aimed at kids of course. They gave us a littler certificate for his first hair cut along with a picture. I did not love the person who did the cut though - she was a bit too slow or DS who was carrying on and not wanting to sit still. So from there, we switched to zippty doos in Merrick and I felt the same way...the lady was too slow. We now take him to where DH gets his haircut which is Jacob's in Bellmore. He has a kids car and airplane and he is so quick and patient - not to mention hes much cheaper than the other two. I highly recommend him (only downside is you cant make appts)

Going to echo two of the other posters here. For that first haircut, I did Little Clippers in Oceanside. They have the package with balloon, certificate, lock of hair, and picture. It's pricey, but it's fun for that first haircut experience.
I now do Jacobs. He did my DS's hair the first time we went and had a really good experience. Unfortunately, he's now in The throes of terrible twos and someone else did it the second time I took him and was a complete sh!tshow, totally on my DS though, not them.
