Picture day question

Our company is Lifetouch. A form was sent home, but it looks like if I want to buy online, I don't have to purchase anything until after the proofs are ready. Does that sound right?
For sports photos, we have a different company and have to buy something in advance.

We used Lifetouch at daycare and didn't buy until after the pictures were taken and the proofs were sent home. The last time they took pictures though - we got same day proofs.

It depends on the company and the plan.
In daycare we got to wait to see the pictures before buying.
In elementary we have to purchase a package ahead of time- which is annoying because if the pictures come out crappy you are stuck with them. (they do have a reshoot day if you are really unhappy though)

You can purchase Lifetouch photos online, after picture day. I usually do this bc I'd like to see the proof first. Don't wait too long, though-the images don't stay online forever. There should be an 800 customer service # on your paperwork-call just to confirm!

We have to buy them in advance online on via the paper form. No proofing. They are always horrible...always. Lifetouch is the worst company. You should've seen my son's senior pictures...awful.

Our school uses LifeTouch and we have to buy the package before photo day. Our school does have a re-take day if you get the pictures and you aren't happy with them. We have never had a problem with LifeTouch.
