Had a conversation recently about this.

Re: Do you wash your underwear separate from your clothes?
No. Why would I? Seems like a waste of water. It would be such a small load. Unless I washed by hand. And thays not happening on a regular....lol

Do you wash your underwear separate from your clothes?
Nope... I’m so tired who knows what I’ve washed! When we first had the twins my husband was putting the wash into the dryer and found a diaper we washed... so... finding time to separate my underwear, no

Re: Do you wash your underwear separate from your clothes?
No. I wash all my clothes separately than the rest though. I like to wash my things on the delicate cycle, in cold water, etc to avoid shrinking. DH does the laundry for everything else and it's generally in hot water, everything in the dryer, faster cycle.
So I separate my things out and wash them myself. But the undies go in with everything else.

I was reading how there is bacteria and you need top use hot water. I can't be bothered but I wash on cold or warm. But I'm not washing underwear with kitchen towels.

We have one of those laundry sorters, so all underwear + anything that needs to be washed on hot go into one sorting bag.

I can't wash my panties in hot- they would get shrunk and destroyed. So far we are all still alive. It amazes me the things people worry about and come up with.

No, but my mom does and I never understood why.
I also don't separate whites and colors.

No way I have 0 time for that! I wash everyones clothes together. The only thing I separate is stuff to be bleached.

This was my thought too. I mean, I understand the logic behind it. Cold/warm water won't kill ecoli. But what the heck did our great grandparents do 80 years ago?

Straightener on a 4yr olds hair?? No way!!
As others have said. There are plenty of products out there you can use that is safe for a toddlers hair.
Even though her hair grows slowly, I would still consider a trim. Could help with the frizz and growth.
did you mean to post this o another thread??

I seriously doubt anyone has ever contacted ecoli from washing their drawers with the general wash. At that rate you should probably just burn your undies and buy new every time just to be safe.

Re: Do you wash your underwear separate from your clothes?
I hand wash my underwear and I do use hot water. No reason just something my mom taught me to do when I was younger.

Re: Do you wash your underwear separate from your clothes?
Yes.
I wear cotton undies, so they go in the hot white wash with DH's and his undershirts. There's enough for a full load every 10 days or so.
Bra's and my "shaper" underwear get washed on warm with my other clothes.

They boiled water on the stove to do the wash. At least that's what my grandmother and great aunt did in Germany until they had a washing machine. Clothes still got hung out to dry.

Be careful!! His undershirts might get contaminated with e Coli! Burn the house down!
We should probably use a red bio-hazard container as a hamper for our bacteria infested panties!!
