got my period last friday. boo. day 32. but-it was different from the first two periods after my stillborn, i actually had stomach cramps and a headache...the first two i had neither. maybe a good sign?
i called kofinas office and i could either: 1. try on my own or 2. try a more aggressive approach, test for ovulation on day 16 to time it, and then also start lovenox shots on day 9. im contemplating doing that. any thoughts on this?
im trying to be as positive as i can, but also..i need to relax. i need to start working out again and maybe do a yoga class? ive never done it but heard that it can calm people. lets see.

I'd do option 2. Good luck!

Check in for the week of September 25th
Got my D&C results back and it was Down Syndrome. I have a consult with my RE on 10/21 to discuss if I have any other options at this point.. I'm thinking this is going to be the end of the road for me..

Oh wow. Glad you got an answer but it doesn't make it any easier.
Remind me of your story. What about doing PGS?

IUI with donor sperm. I went through 3 fresh IVF rounds with my ex husband because it was a sperm issue at the time. Got pregnant twice with IUI and donor sperm both ended in MC. PGS is not off the table, just not sure because of my age (41) that the dr will suggest that, my OBGYN thought maybe donor egg but I have to look into the expense of it all.

Check in for the week of September 25th
this roller coaster of a cycle...I have been going to the RE now every day since Sunday...I thought my cycle was canceled and my RE put me on provera to bring on my period well I go in on CD3 and they see an 18mm follicle...I go back a couple of days later and my follicle grew larger and my lining was getting thicker even as I was bleeding...fast forward to today and my lining is where it needs to be and I triggered yesterday to ovulate and I start PIO Friday with my transfer set for Wednesday!!!
So crazy but I hope it is all worth it!!!

Re: Check in for the week of September 25th
Started Clomid last night. This should be my last IUI attempt before going for IVF. I am debating switching practices so I've been trying to research other Drs.
Question: I haven't needed prior authorization for anything yet but I know I need it for IVF. Do I call my insurance company or does the Dr.'s office do it? ETA: I have NYSHIP/Empire Plan

Re: Check in for the week of September 25th
What's new? Updates? Got my IUD out (had it in to deal with some abnormal cells in my uterus - 2 biopsies since have been clear. Yay for that!)
Saw my RE and came up with an action plan.
Next Steps?
Our next steps are to wait for my period. Call to come in on day 2-3 and then start letrezole and do an IUI. This is what finally got us pregnant with my 20 month old DS.
If I don't get my period by the end of October I'm suppose to call to go in for an exam and we will figure it out from there.
How are you feeling?
I'm nervous. I want another baby but I don't want to do all this again. I just wish it was easier.
Questions or concerns?
