Car seat recommendations
We are going to be hiring a baby sitter to pick up our 4.5yo and 2yo children from day care and drive them home. As such, I'm in the market for 2 more car seats that are not very expensive. Any recommendations?

Car seat recommendations
graco 4ever
ETA: sorry didn't read the "not too expensive" part. We bought two safety 1st car seats from Jet.com for around $70 each. One for my mom's car and one for Dh's. I mostly drive DD around, so I have the Graco 4ever in my car

Re: Car seat recommendations
I bought a few safety first car seats off amazon for around 70. Sometimes different colors are cheaper too.

Re: Car seat recommendations
my DC outgrew the cosco before the age of 3, but he's high percentiles for height and weight. as a less expensive car seat for other cars we got the evenflo securekid which is a 5 point harness high back booster. it converts to a belt-positioning booster and has height and weight limits which will hopefully work for many years to come. it was under $100

Car seat recommendations
The best option for your 4.5 year old would largely be impacted by where they are in terms of height and weight. For the younger one, I'd definitely recommend the Graco Contender. It's a great seat -- both my mother and DH have it in their car for DD. You can usually find it on sale somewhere -- I shopped around for price and found Amazon to be the cheapest at the time I bought it. I feel like Target had a sale using the Cartwheel app for Graco carseats a few weeks ago.
