Makeup

Where is the best place to go to have a makeup consult? I hardly wear makeup (mascara and undereye but that's about it) but have recently had a skin graft on my face for a skin cancer. The scar actually looks awesome but the skin is much, much lighter than the rest of my face...and it's right in the middle of my face. I know it's not half as noticeable to others as it is to me but I'd like to match the color of it to the rest of my skin. Currently I'm using Mac which helps but I don't think it's the right shade.

I had a lot of luck with the color IQ system at Sephora. Have them use the wand on your face in different areas of the store to get an analysis done. You might need to go up or down a color but it will give you brands and shades that will work for you. I would also use a primer to even out the skin and a moisturizer with spf.
