What are the hot items for 8/9 year old girls this holiday season? I’m always clueless with these things.

I did get a fingerling a few weeks ago after a friend suggested if I find one to grab it.
I’m usually not one to jump on the bandwagon and get the hot ticket items. If I find it. Ok. But I won’t go searching like crazy.
But I am also usually clueless about these things and feel bad about that. . So I was curious.

my daughter will be 8 this spring. I keep asking her what she wants. the only thing we came up with is..
target gift card
i tunes gift card
she loves crafts so I told her about the subscription service kiwi crate and she seemed to really like that idea.
Other than that I have no idea! Shes really not into dolls..we have a ton of board games...Would love some suggestions too.

My daughter ad her friends are in to collecting squishies.
They come in different food shapes and they trade them.

She has been into crafts for years and has accumulated so many from past birthdays and Christmas’s. So many that we can’t even catch up and do them.

I have seen them. I just feel like it’s going to be like the Shopkins or something and end up in a corner and forgotten about.

My DD is 9 and I feel like its a tough age. Her list includes things pertaining to making a youtube channel which I didn't agree to let her do.
She is into slime and squishys. Has tons already so probably won't be on list.
So far I've gotten lazer tag set that both my girls have expressed interest in. Will probably do some kind of nerf guns too as they play with their cousin and do nerf wars.

I am having a really tough time with this too. So far we are going to a show, mythbusters live and I got two board games ticket to ride Europe and super munchkin. But I am stumped. We have board games, books, crafts, toys. I am completely stumped.

On her list are an iPod touch. She already has an iPad so I'm not sure about this but we will see. Also an amazon dot. We have the echo downstairs and she loves it for music, asking the weather, homework questions. Games for her Nintendo switch. I miss when she wanted toys

This is great to hear. She still believes and I’m pretty sure she’ll be asking Santa for this so I think I have to get it anyway but feel better knowing she might actually use it lol

8/9 year old girls
My DD is 9. I know she wants some clothes from Justice. Nintendo Switch games. She loves building things so I saw pretty cool Knex sets and and Snap Circuit Arcade. Someone last year recommended Snap Circuit and she loves it! Ozobot was also pretty cool. She hasn't asked for but I selfishly want to get it for her.
