American Girl Store - Advice
OK so I've avoided it this long but this year my daughter REALLY wants to go for her birthday so I went online to see if you needed reservations for some of the doll services and the restaurant, and not only do you need them, they are booked until eternity! Plus they are moving to the new store next month so I'm sure it will be packed. Basically we want to go there, pick out and buy a doll, maybe do hair or ear piercing, and have lunch. Is this possible on a weekend day? Any ideas or tips?

You definitely need a reservation for lunch. Or try to get reservations for the tea or brunch. If you go straight up to the doll salon as soon as you get there, you can make your reservation for the hair and ear piercing. Then do your shopping while you wait for the appointment.

American Girl Store - Advice
I saw that the ressies were all booked up..but I thought that can't be possible!! Maybe it's a glitch. It's normally not like that, especially during the week! I would call them directly! The new store offers doll and girl ear piercing, doll and girl hairstyling, etc., and I believe it's all done with appointments online now. I would go back in and check. I would definitely go during the week vs. a weekend now, since the new store is opening soon!
Also if you are going for her bday, you can book a bday party for just you and her. She will get a cake, goody bag, etc., and it's not much more than the regular price of the meal. We did that when my DD was 4, and it was adorable! When she was 9 we did an actual birthday party in the private room there, and she loved it! I love AG! and so does she!

I actually have a reservation for Saturday Nov 4th that I think I need to cancel. It's for lunch time and I think it's a party of 7 but I am sure you could reduce the size of the party without a problem. If you want it, FM me.

I just booked reservations for the cafe and hairstyle for Dec 29.....maybe they opened more dates recently in case you are still looking.

Yes, we got a New Year's Day ressie for dinner and hairstyling. Great day there since it's the Girl of the Year release date!
