Last Disney Question... I swear

I currently have a little mermaid room booked at A of A for the 4 of us in January ( 3 and 6 year olds) -- thinking of switching it to the Caribbean Beach Resort -- any thoughts? It's only about $200 more to stay at CBR for the 6 nights.

Personally, I LOVE AoA. As a family of 5 we always get one of the suites there so I can't speak for the room itself but the property itself is amazing! My kids were 2, 4 and 4 the first time we went and 4, 6 and 6 the second time and both times they were fascinated with it. The food court is great there too. We are booked to go again next year and will be staying there yet again.

CBR has a zillion internal bus stops, which is a huge turnoff to me. I would keep the AOA rather than have to stop at 6 places once you get on like at CBR. If you want a moderate, I would go with French Quarter, no internal bus stops.

I hated CBR. The food court and internal bus stops were the worst. having said that- I have only ever done wilderness lodge (x2) and beach club besides that.

If your willing to go moderate I say port Orleans French quarters. It's my favorite. I've heard a lot of negative reviews on Caribbean beach

If it was between AoA and Caribbean Beach I'd stick with AoA. Not a fan of Caribbean Beach.

I just got back and stayed at Caribbean. We loved it!!!! The ding is under construction but they have temp facilities in place. There are 5 internal bus stops but it didn’t bother us!!! It centrally located. I would never be able to spend a week in a value resort. Our moderate room started feeling small towards the end and it was only 3 if us.

We stayed in mermaid rooms at AoA and were very happy. Then again, we didn't spend much time in the room.

i have stayed in the AOA Suites and Little Mermaid Room and Caribbean Beach. I would prefer AOA over CBR. CBR is huge, lots of bus stops and currently under construction. if you can upgrade to a suite in AOA for the same price...i would recommend that over CBR. this will give you 2 full bathrooms instead of one.

the biggest difference between a value resort and a moderate resort is the size of the bed. Moderates are now Queen Beds and Values are still Double size beds. Otherwise the room is set up exactly the same.

Just to add, Pop Century is the only Value resort with queen beds. They are remodeling the rooms, they look super modern now, and they have 2 queens.
