Mexico AI resort - what to wear
Going away in 2 weeks. Trying to figure what to wear at nights for dinner. We're staying at the Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya.
Wondering what the weather will be like. THinking sundresses, but should I throw some light sweaters in the suitcase? I do get cold all the time. LOL
Figured bathingsuit and coverup for during the day. Some shorts and sneakers to go walking/running.
First time without the kids!

I was there last August, you’re gonna love it!!!
I’m thinking the humidity will be lower this time of year so I would take a few light sweaters for night time.
Bathing suits and cover-ups are perfect for breakfast and lunch. The guys can’t wear tank tops in the restaurants for breakfast or lunch. Also, read the dress codes for the different restaurants at night. If it’s an indoor restaurant the guys will need pants and collared shirts. Short sleeve is okay and so are polos.
If you go on the bike tour – can’t wear flip-flops you’ll need sneakers.
Loved swimming with the turtles!!!

Thank you! This is awesome advise. I did read that the guys can't wear shorts to dinner.
Any advise what to eat? What bars are the best?
