Dress/Shoe help

Help. Fashion Impaired. I have a family wedding, Saturday night in February.

I found a dress, wondering about what type of shoe I can get away with?

I'm usually a sneakers/flat work shoe person, cant walk in 2+ heels. I also have plantar fasciatis so that also adds to the fun. Would it be OK to wear a bootie like this instead of dress flats? Or am I totally off the mark. I'm OK with the look being more funky then 'elegant'.

TIA

I don’t think that bootie goes with that dress. Sorry! Cute dress though!

I love the dress...its hot!
The booties are too casual though.
Maybe if it was a dressier bootie....

I think a bootie is fine, but it needs to be dressier.

Thanks guys. I think I need the larger heel in order to feel comfortable walking.

I'll look into a more dressier bootie, and a wedge.

I agree it is a great dress but will need a dressier bootie.

What about something like this

There are so many "fancier" block heel booties out now. And you can easily dress them down with jeans or sweater dresses for more use.
