AIM Instant Messenger
This is no longer in effect come Friday - we use it at work to text technicians job locations from the computer to their cell's . Anyone know what I can use in place of it ? I would hate to text from my phone all day long on that keyboard. Thank you !
for some reason yahoo messenger will not work on the computers here.

If you can text cell phones, I would use whatsapp although it does work off your phone but has a web-based program. I use it at work to text my bf through my phone but on the laptop. LOL.

This is what I was going to suggest. I use it to talk to my sister and DH when we are at work. I also have the app on my phone and have it linked to a google voice account.

I use GChat (Google Hangouts) all the time- I had to make a google email account in order to use it- but it's very easy and exactly like AIM.

we use Cisco Jabber in the office. the other one is Slack.
yahoo also has a messenger thing I believe.

I used to use Yahoo messenger at work, but they got rid of it about 6 months or so ago

We use Slack or Google Hangouts. Both of which have Apps and are very easy to use.

I tried Trillian and it was great yesterday - logged in today and all contacts gone? Not sure how to add them.
Tried Google Hangouts - can't figure out same - how to add contacts.
Will try Skype soon....

Hi.. I am trying this and it lets me make a phone call but not text? I click on messenger, but still goes to phone calls? HELP!! thank you.
