How often does your toddler do #2?

My 3.5 years old DD has had issues with constipation for about 8 months now. I suspect it started with potty training at the daycare and her holding it in, refusing to do #2 in potty. Things have been a lot better since she started taking Miralax every day, but it still is a struggle getting her to go every day. If she skips BM for a day, she gets very uncomfortable. While she is fully potty trained when it comes to peing, she refuses to do #2 in a potty/toilet. We don't push the issue at home and every time she needs to do BM we put her diaper on. At school though she is not comfortable asking the teacher for a diaper since no other kids wear it, so she holds the BM all day until she gets home :(. I have talked to the teacher about it and explained the issue, but since she doesn't ask them they just assume she doesn't need it. Sometimes she will go a day, maximum 2 days, without doing BM and I'm afraid all this holding it in can cause some issues to her digestive track or other health problems in the future. Is that possible? She eats a pretty well balanced diet for a kid her age, including veggies and jogurt. Doctor didn't seem to be concerned about this at her last check up and just said to increase Miralax dose as needed. How often does your toddler go #2? Any advice/experience would be very helpful.

My toddler (3.5) goes once every 24-36 hours. He never complains about needing to go or being constipated. He’s very regular.

sometimes daily sometimes every day or two. Its not a set schedule.

DD (3.5 years old) is the same.
She used to go once or twice a day EVERYDAY.

But in May we potty trained her. She pees in the toilet but wants a diaper for #2.
She started pre school in June and has never done #2 there and does not wear a diaper (I think she is scared to ask the teacher for a diaper - she once said "Ms XYZ does not like diapers" )

So I think she has gotten used to holding it in. At night she even says she has to poop and asks for a diaper - but then it ends up not coming out.
Now she poops every 3 days or so. Last month she didn't go for 5 days, that was a rough time, her stomach was bothering her for the last 2 days.

my 4 year old typically goes every other day. There are times she will go 3-4 days but it's infrequent and when she does I can tell she is uncomfortable.

Thanks ladies for responding! I have an exciting update! The morning after I wrote my original post, I had a long talk with my DD about how she really needs to use a potty when she poops. I don't know if she sensed how stressed/upset I was but that same day she made #2 in the toilet in school for the first time ever!! And since then she made it again in the potty at home and is super excited about it! I can't even believe this finally happened! Fingers crossed she continues going on a potty :)
