Need ideas for my 40th
So i got shot down on Iceland because nobody wants the cold-great timing blizzard bomb! Key West, Bahamas and Bermuda are out because they aren't guaranteed to be warm in February or March. It's a kid free vacation for us. Here are our musts:
Warm
Great nightlife
Hotel must have great pool and be on the beach
Can't be Mexico
We only have 5 days so it can't be more than a 5 hour flight

My first thought was Turks and Caicos - but there might not be enough nightlife. Otherwise I’d say Miami fits the bill.

I'm redacting my initial statement. I decided to look at the weather in those areas myself rather than listen to my paranoid wannabe weather lady BFF and in the Bahamas and Key West, the average is like 75.
What we are really worried about is the whole night life thing. Like Cabo was awesome. It has a great resort scene and a really fun nightlife but it's just too far to go when we are leaving my kids home. So I guess something comparable to that. Or if you stayed at a resort that had a lot of fun adult activities, please share.

I’ve been to Key West in February a few times. Always felt like summer! Nightlife is tons of fun. If you’re really set on the beach, there is not much beach there, but lots of water activities and there’s always the pool....

Miami has tons of nightlife and great beaches. Way nicer beaches than the keys

I'd say Aruba since you know you'll have warm weather. I feel like FL is hit or miss for Feb... i went down to FL for a conference once in Feb and they were having a cold spell.

i agree with Florida being hit or miss. I went in late January to Miami for a conference as well and all it did was rain and was freezing.
I agree with Barbados.

I was in the same situation with my birthday last year in December and ended up with Aruba. While I didn't have the pool like some nice all inclusives have, it was a good choice, weather wise.
